Topic: Special Guest Speaker, Farshid Namiranian.

Dear Folks of Baba,

Our speaker next Sunday is Farshid Namiranian, and hereunder is his bio.

Farshid Namiranian was born in Yazd, Iran, in a family dedicated to Meher Baba. Many of his elder relatives and family members met Meher Baba going back to the mid-1920s. His two paternal uncles were in Baba’s Ashram. He grew up with several Prem Ashram boys, who later returned to Iran to live their adult years.

Farshid had the special honor to translate for these special souls who spent precious time with Baba as teenagers at Meherabad. He has written their life stories. He now lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and is the husband of Marjan, who is deeply devoted to Baba, and he is the father of two sons who have grown up coming frequently to the Center and taking part in its many activities.

We look forward to hearing his wonderful stories of time spent with all those fortunate souls from Iran, who were students at Baba's Prem Ashram in the 1920's at Meherabad, like Esfandiar Vesali and his own relatives.
