Dear fortunate folks of Baba,

For this Sunday’s late night chat, I thought the topic of "Living in the Present" might be interesting to explore.

By the present is meant the timeless present, not the passing present which is part of the past, present and future trio.

Baba has said, “Live more and more in the Present, which is ever-beautiful an stretches away beyond

the limits of the past and the future.”

For most of us, when we were in early childhood, one day could last a month. Why? Because the

present wasn’t wedged in between the walls of things like anxiety about the future or regrets about past.

We were in an expansive present full of wonder, exploration, and mystery with very few worries.

What do you find that pulls you out of the present?

What keeps you in the present?

What does it mean to accept WHAT IS?

How does your life in Baba keep you in the present?

Have you had any experience of the timeless present or what Baba calls the eternal Now?

Have you experienced a sense of time stopping?

And a sense of immense spaciousness?

Is there a doorway from the passing present into the timeless present?
